Prysm, Inc. (“Prysm”) knows that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following privacy policy to learn more about our privacy practices (“Privacy Policy”). By using this Prysm website (the “Site”), you accept the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers Prysm’s treatment of information that Prysm gathers when you use the Site. This Privacy Policy does not cover Prysm’s products and services or the use of information by third parties we do not control.

What Information Does Prysm Collect?

When you use the Site, Prysm may collect certain contact information from you that you elect to enter on the Site, such as your name, organization name, address, email address, and phone number (collectively, “Contact Information”). We also collect any information that you enter on the Site in any comments on our blogs or in your product reviews.

As you navigate the Site, Prysm may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools (“Site Information”). Site Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the Site (such as the Web pages viewed).

We may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser.  A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can read more about cookies at

We may set a persistent cookie to store your Contact Information if you select certain features such as “Remember Me”. Persistent cookies enable us to enhance the experience on our Site to gather analytics such as search terms. We also use cookies so you can login without re-entering your account information and to collect email leads. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Site, but your ability to use some areas of our Site may be limited. Prysm will track users over time and over our own webpages or applications when you use our Site.

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and Site (including behavioral advertising Site) that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and/or across different websites. Our Site does not follow Do Not Track requests.

How does Prysm use information?

Prysm uses your Contact Information to provide you with notices about products that you have purchased (or that were purchased by your company or a company that granted you guest access to their workspace) or that we believe you may wish to purchase. If you have requested information, we will use your data and Contact Information to contact you and provide you the requested information. You may opt-out of those communications by following the email opt-out instructions contained in each email.

We also may use your information that we collect to monitor, further develop, and improve the Site. We may correlate your Site Information with your Contact Information or unique identifiers.

How does Prysm secure your information?

We and our third party hosting provider endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other Personal Information we hold in our records, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security. To protect your data, we or our third party hosting provider use reasonable measures such as encryption, secure socket layer, firewalls, password protection, and other internal restrictions on who may access data.  We also have a third party audit our security and privacy measures.  We have implemented processes and procedures that are designed to ensure that security incidents are discovered in a timely manner. 

Will Prysm Disclose Any of the Information it Receives?

We do not rent, sell or disclose your data to anyone – except for the following limited purposes:

  • Service Providers: We may employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf – meaning they are helping us provide our Site. We may share your data with such companies/persons solely as necessary for them to help us provide the Site or such third parties may directly collect the data from you (and in the case of the latter, the third parties’ privacy policy will govern their use of your data). For example, we currently use HubSpot to host our Site.  Unless we tell you differently, Prysm’s service providers do not have any right to use data we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.
  • Affiliates and Business Transfers: We may share your data with our affiliated entities within our corporate family. In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. Moreover, if Prysm, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Prysm goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party.
  • Protection of Prysm and Others: We may be required to release data pursuant to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements or when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with the law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Prysm, our employees, our users, or others. Law enforcement officials who believe that notification would jeopardize an investigation should obtain an appropriate court order or other appropriate process establishing that notice is prohibited.
  • With Your Consent: Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your data may be shared with third parties, and will be able to prevent the sharing of this information. To limit the use and disclosure of your personal information you may opt-out by submitting a written request to

If you decide to access or use the Site, any possible dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and, if applicable, our subscription agreement with you, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of California state law.


The Site are not targeted to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13; if you are a child under 13, please do not use the Site or send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Access, Corrections and Deletions of information

You have the right to obtain our confirmation of whether we maintain personal information relating to you. Upon request, we will provide you with access to the personal information that we hold about you. You may also may correct, amend, or delete the personal information we hold about you. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct their query to legal@prysm.comIf requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Your right to access your Personal Data may be restricted in exceptional circumstances, including, but not limited to, when the burden or expense of providing this access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy in the case in question, or when the rights of persons other than you would be violated by the provision of such access. If we determine that your access should be restricted in a particular instance, we will provide you with an explanation of our determination and respond to any inquiries you may have.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Prysm may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice of such changes through a posting on the Prysm website or through another reasonable means of communication. Users are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she uses the Site after such notice has been provided.

Users Outside of the United States

Our computer systems and third party hosting provider systems are currently based in the United States and may be located in other countries, so your personal data will be processed by us in the U.S. and other countries where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union. If you use any of the Site as a visitor from outside the United States, by using the Site you agree to this Privacy Policy and you consent to the transfer of all such information to the United States, which may not offer an equivalent level of protection of that required in the European Union or certain other countries, and to the processing of that information as described in this Privacy Policy.
